Senior Cyber Security Analyst / Consultant

We are looking to hire a Cyber Security Consultant who has experience in frontline Security (i.e., Threat detection, Assurances & Vulnerability assessments, support). This role will give you the opportunity to work across all elements of Cyber Security (i.e., frontline vs Operations vs 3rd line GRC)Key Responsibilities:

• Perform critical business and security projects from concept to completion
• Ongoing assurance through activities such as audits, technical risks assessments, and the facilitation of penetration tests
• Conduct third-party assessments in accordance with GRC practices whenever the organisation engages new vendors or partners
• Stay informed about potential threats, emerging trends, and relevant events that could impact the organisations risk posture
• Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues with security platforms
• Track and report on information security controls and their effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements
• Assist in developing documentation necessary for the continuous support and maintenance of security platforms

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years' experience; specialising in Information Security - Assurance Security/Frontline Security/Threat detection

• Experience using Endpoint Detection and Response Tools, Vulnerability Management, Ticketing and Asset Management tools
• A strong technical knowledge and security principles

• Degree qualified in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Must have the right attitude to learn, roll up their sleeves and get stuck in
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you will be liaising with internal stakeholders and other ICT teams
