Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Job Purpose:
A brand new role has been created for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join a growing team in a boutique Cyber Consultancy due to successful expansion of their service offerings.

In this role you will be helping out with the delivery of strategic engagements around cyber security for both new and existing clients. You will also have the opportunity to work as a Tech Lead and help build out the team.

Main Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of onboarding consulting engagements
Provide technical proposals to clients
Provide Cyber security capability documentation
Provide solution frameworks to address challenges
Assist with building out templates for Cyber security offerings
Stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle
Provide templates and frameworks prior to client commencement
Security Remediation/Incident Response
Implement security controls aligned with Essential 8

Key Skills Required:
4+ years of experience in Security Engineering roles
Threat-hunting/IR & vulnerability scanning experience
SIEM and Tenable Nessus experience
Experience with IRAP and Essential 8 frameworks
Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK concepts and techniques
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects at the same time
Ability to communicate with stakeholders across all levels
Baseline or NV1 Clearance
