Location: Brisbane preferred however flexibleAbout the role:Join Aurizon's Cyber Security Group for a 12-month opportunity as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering efficient and effective Cyber Security controls, services, and architectural solutions that align with business requirements and the enterprise strategy.Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of and operate the security infrastructure, including incident detection and vulnerability management tools.
- Develop and implement roadmaps for security infrastructure based on agreed security benchmarks.
- Design security solutions for business requirements while maintaining the security posture.
- Manage the delivery of security infrastructure vendor service obligations, including associated renewals and budgets.
- Maintain relationships with managed service providers to ensure the delivery of required Security Engineering services.
- Mentor and guide junior staff
- Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Information Systems (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in incident management and response disciplines.
- Proven technical knowledge and experience in:
- Managing, governing, and troubleshooting Cyber Security controls.
- Network security appliances such as Palo Alto, Checkpoint Cisco- highly desirable.
- Integration patterns with common systems such as LDAP, SSO, web/API services, mail, and event management tools.
- Digital, mobile, and web architectures leveraging APIs and microservices.
- Designing, deploying and maintaining network security infrastructure solutions.
- Utilization of Splunk/SIEM for searching and dashboarding.
