How will I Help?
Develop a departmental database and associated ETL logic that will provide management insights and sequence work by bankers and operations team. The role sits within a newly formed large business workstream in a broader program that is being led out of the Chief Transformation Office (CTO).
Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Design and develop a database architecture and ETL processes to import large data sets to be transformed and outputted to PowerBI and an operational Workflow solution.
- Design and develop PowerBI reports that provide current and forecast views for different users.
- Provide technical expertise to the technology team developing the operational workflow solution.
- 5+ years’ experience in the Banking & Finance Industry
- 5+ years’ experience in analytical roles (Data, Credit, Business)
- 5+ years commercial experience in Business Intelligence Solutions
- Advanced SAS/SQL skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of Westpac Group Data Warehouses – Desirable
- Agile project delivery processes and tools (i.e JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams) - Desirable
