The role

We have a created a brand new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Analytics professional to join our high performing and collaborative Finance Analytics team.

This is a 2IC position to support the Data Analytics Manager to develop business performance and data analytics capabilities for the HUB24 group specifically within Platform and Superannuation.

Key responsibilities

    • Act as a subject matter expert for key stakeholder data queries related to the core Platform and Superannuation.
    • Utilise data to provide business efficiencies in areas such as Fund Administration, Fund Accounting, Operations and Regulatory Reporting.
    • Manage all aspects of data asset including design, data sourcing, integration, quality assurance, automation, and documentation.
    • Drive accountability across multiple functions using data driven insights.
    • Model and analyse data to generate actionable business insights and identify ways to save costs and streamline business processes.
    • Recommend opportunities to improve outcomes of business strategic requirements.
    • Partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs / priorities whilst providing commercial advice, modelling and analysis to support change initiatives and key client opportunities.

Key requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
    • 6+ years programming in T-SQL & SSIS tools and 6+ years report writing (preferably in SSRS)
    • Experience with handling large & complex data sets and producing statistical modelling (preferably in the financial services industry)
    • An understanding of Superannuation / Fund Accounting would be an advantage
    • Analytical, design & critical thinking skills
    • Excellent stakeholder management skills
    • Continuous improvement mindset with a desire to achieve optimal results and deliver on the commercial priorities of the business
