About the role
We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our Sustainable Investments (SI) team, where you will play a vital role in building and improving our ESG data capabilities, systems, and tools. This crucial work underpins our ability to deliver on our ambitious SI strategy and fulfill our mission.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Build and maintain databases, tools, and analytics tailored to the SI team’s needs, supporting Australian Retirement Trust's (ART) SI strategy implementation.
- Collect, collate, and store essential climate change data for annual reporting in collaboration with ART's SI team and asset class teams.
- Conduct thorough research on ESG data sources and service providers, making informed recommendations for their use or enhancement.
- Provide insightful data analysis to reinforce ART's SI strategy and Net Zero 2050 Roadmap and contribute to strategic initiatives as needed.
- Deliver accurate and timely data for reporting to internal and external stakeholders, bolstering the ART risk management framework.
- Work closely within a highly collaborative team setting, participating in and sometimes leading, strategic initiatives.

About you
If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include:
- Knowledge in ESG/Sustainable Investments, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail; with the ability to use and manipulate large data sets and extract relevant insights from these.
- Knowledge of ESG and climate datasets (such as MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, S&P Trucost, GRESB, CRREM, etc.) will be highly regarded.
- Qualifications in finance, accounting, engineering or mathematics are also an advantage.
