About the Role
The main objective of this role is to outline and refine use cases for implementation by functional teams within the branch. Additionally, it involves identifying and optimizing data and analytics products and solutions to align with agreed-upon strategic priorities and objectives.
Key accountabilities include:
- Collaborate with Business Stakeholder Managers and their clients to gather relevant data, insights, and analytics for addressing business challenges or opportunities.
- Provide expertise in business development to branch project teams working on customized data and analytics solutions tailored to their divisions.
- Work closely with Business Stakeholder Managers and their clients to deliver essential data and analytics strategies aligned with strategic plans and agreed-upon priorities.
- Develop business proposals and determine the scope and size of use cases to meet the specific needs of each division across the cluster, offering insights to facilitate decision-making.
- Partner with technology innovation teams to offer business development insights and establish connections between use cases and ongoing technology product trials.
- Contribute to enhancing the branch's product offerings for the cluster by leveraging insights from market analysis, external clients, and internal feedback from divisions.
- Conduct regular market scans to identify best practices in the data and analytics space, aiming to discover new solutions, approaches, and frameworks suitable for adoption across the cluster.
- Gaining backing for the role due to its distinctive focus.
- Juggling various tasks as the sole resource within a large cluster, addressing the diverse needs of numerous stakeholders.
- Offering business development insights and expertise tailored to the specific context.
- Government experience preferred.
- Proficiency in analysing large datasets, interpreting trends, and extracting actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, including identifying new opportunities, conducting market research, and fostering client relationships.
- Strong strategic mindset with the ability to align data and analytics initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
