Senior Data Center Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Center Engineer to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of Data Center technologies, enterprise networks, and disaster recovery solutions. They will be responsible for the design, deployment, and support of business mission-critical applications and infrastructures, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain Data Center infrastructure, including storage, networking,

and server environments.

• Implement and support disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.

• Migrate applications and databases from physical to virtual/cloud infrastructures.

• Optimize the performance and availability of enterprise applications, databases, and

operating systems.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve

complex technical issues.

• Design and implement cloud strategies and support application modernization.

• Manage and support storage area networks (SAN) and high-end storage products from

vendors such as Hitachi Vantara, Dell EMC, HPE, and others.

• Implement and support virtualization technologies, including VMware, NSX, and

Hyper-V.

• Provide technical consultancy and design next-generation Data Center networks based

on Cisco technologies.

• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Hardware Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Center Engineering, enterprise networks, and

disaster recovery.

• Strong knowledge of Cisco LAN and Data Center technologies

• Extensive experience with storage solutions

• Proficiency in virtualization technologies

• Deep understanding of disaster recovery solutions and data protection strategies.

• Hands-on experience with operating systems

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
