Job description

About the Position:
As Deal Desk specialist you are versatile, self-driven, proactive, and experienced working closely with sales and cross-functional teams. You will ensure that the sales organization has a business partner along the sales process to operate efficiently and effectively as our tools and processes evolve to help empower the field. From forecasting to deal structure, to contract creation and bookings the Deal Desk operates as a single entrance point to reduce friction and aid smooth deal processing.
Your responsibilities include supporting assigned regional sales teams and leaders with an efficient quote-to-cash process and troubleshooting Q2C problems. This role will take experience from real scenarios and assist with creation of executive briefings that show current challenges and presents recommendations to help address and improve the current model.

The candidate will have demonstrated experience in a fast-paced sales support function in a technology company with a mix of pricing, deal structuring, and approval cycles as it relates to non-standard deal types and contracting motions.
What you'll get to do:
  • Work with the sales team to drive deal structuring, quote approvals, contracting exceptions, and all aspects of the deal cycle.
  • Ensure best-in-class Q2C process by identifying gaps to build upon existing automation as the business scales accordingly.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and ensure compliance and governance aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Guide transactional best practices to ensure deals are represented accurately and in the best interest of all parties involved.

Skills and Experience we value:
  • Track record in deal support functions in a technology or B2B organization.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytic skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using SFDC CRM/CPQ, DocuSign CLM, MSFT Excel, and Power BI.
  • Experience in forecasting, planning, and analysis of key metrics is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business-related discipline, MBA/CPA preferred.
