About the role
The Senior Demand Planner will report to the Planning & Logistics Manager and will be responsible for leading forecasting initiatives and providing strategic insights to support to the development and improvement of the greater business unit.
Key Responsibilities will include.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to forecast, develop and execute supply chain strategies and plans.
- Develop, propose, and implement new forecasting strategies based on shifts in market trends.
- Analyse demand patterns, market trends and other relevant data to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Conduct scenario planning analysis to assess the impact of various factors including changes in demand, supply constraints and provide recommendations for business decisions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve inventory planning processes and systems to optimise inventory levels, reduce costs and improve customer service levels.
About You
To be successful in your application for this engaging opportunity you will have demonstrated experience, and ideally tertiary qualifications, in a Demand Planning environment within a complex manufacturing environment. Additionally, you will have high level ERP and Microsoft Excel skills and an ability to communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders to facilitate positive business outcomes.
