Senior Dental Assistant Part Time (3-4 days per week - 27-36 hours) - Hobart

Macquarie Street Periodontists has a Part Time (3 or 4 days per week - 27-36 hours) position for an experienced Senior Dental Assistant to replace a valuable team member who is leaving to work closer to home. We will train you in everything you need to know about our specialty - no prior periodontal/implant experience is necessary! Your role will be to lead a team of Dental Assistants and coordinate the clinical aspects of running our Dental Practice. To fully understand the needs of our Clinicians and Dental Assistants, there will also be some chairside dental assisting.

We support our referring Dentists and their patients by providing specialist Periodontal and Implant care including treatment of gum disease, gum cleaning, gum surgery, bone and gum grafting, extractions and dental implant placement.

Learning and growth

• Support to complete a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting

• Previous chairside dental assisting experience
• Previous experience coordinating the clinical aspects of running a Dental Practice
