We are seeking a suitably experienced Senior Digital Engineering Coordinator into our team.

With over two billion dollars' worth of work in hand and a healthy pipeline of future projects ahead, our western region is experiencing an exciting period of growth. To help support this growth we are seeking to bring a number of suitably experienced Digital Engineering professionals into our business to work on major projects within the Perth metro area.

Reporting to the Digital Engineering Manager, you will support the use of BIM processes and technologies and capture of Digital information on site. The focus will be on working collaboratively to improve, support and develop processes and culture across the whole business.

Main position roles and responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the coordination of project Digital Engineering deliverables across Survey, BIM, VDC, GIS, Data Science and Asset Delivery

  • Evaluate opportunities for digital integration and leverage innovation to drive continuous improvement.

  • Collect data across projects for use in analytics to help identify trends and inform better decision making.

  • Support model validation and compliance reviews, including the integration of design, construction, As Built and asset data for Asset Information handover.

  • Support the development of Construction phase design, including temporary works, construction sequencing and methodology.

  • Ensure the data output from the design BIM models are accurate and structured accordingly to assist with cost planning.

  • Assist and facilitate the 3D virtual trade coordination of works onsite.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Minimum of 4 years relevant Digital Engineering industry experience, including an applicable university or technical qualification in engineering, construction management, project management, building science or similar.

  • Good understanding of current and innovative project delivery processes, including 4D delivery, 3D model validation, 3D quantity extraction and 3D Asset integration.

  • Sound understanding of current industry standards (including ISO19650) and working experience in DE industry standards delivery.

  • Passion for Digital Engineering within construction, with experience and track record in delivering Digital Engineering outcomes on projects

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience and the ability to influence and guide stakeholders.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, being the interface between the Design and Construction teams to drive efficiency.

  • Highly organised with exceptional time management and planning abilities, setting own priorities within time constraints and managing conflicting demands

  • The ability to make good decisions based on analysis, experience and judgment.
