The Opportunity
We are a collaborative and inclusive National team housed within our 900+ person Property and Buildings group. As such, we strive to offer an exceptional client experience, promoting innovation and 'future ready' solutions.
Principally, the focus for this role will be for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, lead and deliver projects on behalf of our clients in the Public and Private sector
What you'll do:
- Provide electrical design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects
- Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time
- Take lead on small to medium size engineering design projects and support larger projects
- Communicate effectively with all external (clients, authorities) and internal (colleagues, managers)
- Build solid client relationships and recognize business development opportunities
- Contribute to the development of the business unit against strategic goals
- Extensive experience within a similar role within building services
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
- Ideally working towards chartered status
- BIM (Revit) literate, or willingness to learn
- Extensive experience working within the building services sector utilising Australian building codes and standards;
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to forge strong client and stakeholder relationships
- A track record of effectively handling competing priorities, prioritising work and meeting tight deadlines
