The division employs more than 3600 team members.About the role:We're seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead our Enterprise Architecture practice. Based at our Docklands office, in this pivotal role, you will influence strategic planning and key technology decisions, ensuring that our technology adoption is cost-effective, scalable, flexible, secure, and perfectly aligned with our business needs. Your expertise will guide the evolution of our technology lifecycle, balancing innovation with risk and compliance requirements. Given our Enterprise Architecture function is still maturing you will play a pivotal role in setting a good foundation and defining and actioning a roadmap to uplift our Enterprise Architecture function and related disciplines.Here's some of what your role will involve:
- Develop foundational Enterprise Architecture frameworks and continuously improve the practice across Wesfarmers Health
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand objectives and challenges, conducting thorough needs assessments to identify gaps and opportunities, and build strong relationships as a trusted advisor.
- Contribute to and maintain technology strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals, identifying opportunities for value addition while assessing and mitigating risks.
- Oversee the delivery of holistic solution architecture, review and recommend new technologies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Stay updated on technology trends, champion innovation, and collaborate with portfolio owners and IT teams to continuously enhance Technology Architecture services, communicating effectively throughout.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in Delivery, Technical Product Management, and/or Solution architecture, with at least 5 years in Enterprise Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of technology trends, emerging technologies, and their practical application.
- Experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions.
- Understanding of networking, application, cloud computing, data architecture, and cybersecurity principles.
- Knowledge of risk management and IT governance principles.
- Proven ability to align technology strategies with business objectives.
- Ability to conceptualize complex technical solutions and convey them in understandable business terms.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide senior leaders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in leading and developing teams, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
- Experience in the retail and wholesale distribution industry is advantageous.
