We invest in technology to dramatically reduce greenhouse gases and environmental degradation to protect the planet for future generations.About the role: Based in Repurpose It's Environmental and Sustainability team, the position of Senior Environmental Engineer/Scientist is primarily responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operational activities of the team including compliance testing and monitoring, data review, review of waste classification and other environmental technical reports, communication updates to operational managers & management of other site activities as required to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Responsibilities of the role include: Site inspections and site management of environmental compliance requirements in line with the regulations; Preparation of internal and external environmental reports; Assist in developing environmental and sustainability strategies and site procedures; Identification of key environmental risk and sustainability best practice opportunities; Support activities associated with the company’s Environmental Management System and accreditation of ISO standards; Contribute to the preparation project briefs for new resource recovery projects; Engage with key internal and external stakeholders and assist with regulatory approvals where required; Implement and support Research & Development initiative…
