About the Role:
As Senior Estimator you'll be key in crafting accurate construction cost estimates and tender bids, ensuring we stay competitive while managing risks. This vital role supports our commitment to delivering top-tier projects efficiently and within budget.
Your Impact:
Lead the tender process, steering communication with both external and internal stakeholders.
Communicate effectively, ensuring timely and precise tender submissions.
Identify and Manage Risks, alerting the team to potential issues or delays.
Uphold Quality, guaranteeing all documentation is of the highest standard.
Responsibilities:
Assess tender documentation, site conditions, and collaborate for the best financial outcomes.
Clarify document discrepancies and provide crucial pre-tender insights.
Manage tender advertising, subcontractor engagement, and document organization.
Review quotes, complete pricing comparisons, and ensure tender accuracy.
Drive post-tender negotiations and project handovers.
You’ll Bring:
Stellar communication skills, proficiency in estimating systems, and a knack for numbers.
Advanced Excel and Word capabilities, with a desirable background in Quantity Surveying or similar.
Knowledge of the local subcontractor market and estimating software (Microsoft Project, Estimate One, etc.) is a plus.
