Immediate Start - Global Industry Leader - Dynamic Company Culture - Finance Business Partnering - Drive Commercial Strategy - Process Improvement

About the role An exciting role with a global industry-leading organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their team. This Senior Finance Business Partner position will help provide insightful analysis into key performance trends that exist in order to drive the positive financial direction of the company. Initially this will be a long-term 12 month fixed term contract role, however there is the genuine for extension and/or permanency.
The responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
  • Lead, own and manage the financial planning process including subscription revenue and operating costs including marketing and overheads
  • Partnering end-to-end with the business on strategy and execution, delivering financial modelling, providing analysis and advice on key projects and initiatives, and leading best in class budget and planning processes to support business and financial performance
  • Monitor and understand the commercial operations and results of your business unit, identifying key issues and challenges, and helping to optimise financial outcomes
  • Work with the business and wider finance team to enable effective decision support, from identifying opportunities for transformation through to improving financial models and processes
  • Build strong relationships with your business leaders to develop a deep understanding of business issues and work in partnership to co-create solutions for growth
  • Own and contribute to presentation summaries and outputs suitable for senior stakeholders
  • Mentor the team and develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the business and the wider finance community
The successful applicant will have Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, enjoy cross-functionally partnering with senior stakeholders and have worked in a complex Media, Telecommunications, Entertainmnent or FMCG organisation previously.
