Senior Financial Adviser $110,000 – $165,000 + Bonuses

THE ROLE

As an adviser you will work directly with clients on their wealth needs. You will advise comprehensively and pro-actively with a strong focus on retirement planning. This role will see you maintain and nurture an existing client base, with opportunity to deliver advice to new clients of the firm.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, knowledgeable adviser who understands the technical aspects of advice and has a strong ability to nurture and develop existing client relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meeting new and existing clients of the practice to deliver initial and ongoing financial advice
• Development of strategies and solutions which are fit for purpose and deliver on the client's goals and needs
• Monitor/review clients’ strategies and investment portfolios, and proactively engage with clients on a regular basis
• Prepare compliant statements of advice (SoA) that addresses the key personal goals and objectives
• Achieve agreed KPI targets
• Participate in company marketing activities to maintain existing client relationships and attract new clients
• Ensue the client file is compliant with the necessary detail and information as required by the practice
• Reviewing the relevant SOA or ROA advice document/s to ensure it is of high quality and is compliant
• Working closely with our administration support team by providing direction to ensure advice is implemented correctly and other outstanding client items are completed in a timely manner
• Provide exceptional client service at all times

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Financial Adviser
• Must hold relevant qualifications (preferably degree qualified)
• Strong technical/strategic advisory skills
• High emotional intelligence and communication skills
• Take pride in your work with a fast, effective and highly proactive approach
• Must deliver an exceptional client experience at all times
• Holds FASEA qualification.

The salary and performance-based incentives offered will be in line with your experience and ability, which will also be reviewed in line with your development and contribution to the business. 

BENSONS IS ALSO LOOKING FOR A NEW BUSINESS ADVISER – this role will predominantly be meeting with prospective clients of the firm.
