AddressWith continued growth planned across Australia, this well established group of companies are now looking for a Senior Financial Controller who would like to step up to CFO in the next 12 months.
Based at the north end of the Gold Coast, their head office is perfectly positioned for both Brisbane and Gold Coast candidates with easy access from the M1.
Working closely with senior management and the Board, the Senior Financial Controller will be responsible for -
Managing and review the financial performance and position of the business
Preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss and cashflow statement
Complete year-end statutory financial audit
Monthly cashflow reporting
Preparation and submission of ongoing GST, IAS/BAS, FBT reporting
Management of the financial planning and analysis function
Oversee the annual budget process
Oversee an accounting team of 7
Ensuring Accounting Standards and policies are adhered too
Corporate Governance
Reporting consolidated results on group level
Administrator for permissions for Netsuite
Management of internal financial controls (e.g. procurement, cost control, credit card management, etc)
Liaison with external suppliers, customers, operational management
Assisting in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives
Ad hoc projects and reporting as required by CEO and directors (acquisitions, due diligence etc).
The successful candidate will be CA/CPA qualified with proven financial management experience within a large, corporate structure. Netsuite experience (ideally at implementation level) will be highly regarded but a good working knowledge of other ERP's will be considered. You will have well developed leadership skills to empower your team and provide opportunities for their growth.
