As a Senior Fire and Life Safety Engineer, you will:
- Be an integral part of our Underground Systems Engineering Team
- Bring your wealth of experience as a Fire Engineer to contribute to the planning, design, and implementation of road tunnels, rail tunnels, surface and sub-surface train stations throughout Australasia, with a particular focus on building up a client base in NSW
- Play a crucial role in business development by leveraging your expertise and industry connections to identify new opportunities and nurture client relationships
- Collaborate with a networked team of engineers and modellers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs and drive successful projects
- Provide discipline-specific engineering expertise and optimize project designs from feasibility and practicability perspectives
- Utilize advanced data analytics to make key design decisions and enhance technical designs for safe engineering and sustainability
- Apply safe design standards in the real world and stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and regulations
- Assist our road and rail transport operator clients in minimizing disruption to their existing and future assets, taking into consideration changing use of tunnels and recent developments in fire engineering and tunnel ventilation
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical professionals, ensuring efficient business operations and delivery of excellence.
- Explore new technologies and innovation with the support of the AI, digital and innovation teams in Aurecon.
