We are looking for a full-time Senior Formulation Chemistbased in Nerang, Gold Coast QLD.

This role involves developing and optimising high-impact agricultural products, reporting to the Head of Product Development and Innovation, and is accountable for ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance in our product line.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Developing, refining, and optimising formulations for various agricultural products
• Monitoring and enhancing the stability, efficacy, and overall quality of products
• Providing scientific guidance and support across the company, particularly to Operations and Sales teams
• Staying informed of industry trends and technological advancements to drive product innovation
• Corresponding with international companies to source and integrate novel technologies
• Conducting research to develop innovative formulations that improve plant health and yield
• Testing compound efficacy and ensuring chemical compatibility with other formulations
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory changes and maintaining a competitive edge in the market

To qualify, you will need a Bachelor of Science qualificationin conjunction with asolid understanding of inorganic chemistry and expertise in life sciences. A minimum of 3 years experience in product development or a relevant role in the agricultural industry will also be preferred, yet not essential. 

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

• Experience with biostimulant formulations
• Technical expertise in nutrient composition and chemical compatibility
• Proven ability to conduct research and develop innovative agricultural products
• Knowledge of regulatory changes and industry trends
• Ability to provide scientific guidance to operations and sales teams
