AddressOur government client is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Microsoft Developer. Senior Full Stack Microsoft Developer with strong experience in converting VB6 programs to latest Microsoft technology. This role will work as part of the program team to review the existing legacy VB6 applications with new Microsoft technologies.
About the role:
- Remediate existing VB6 applications during backend systems upgrade.
- Develop new solution using Microsoft Technologies to replace legacy VB6 application.
- Assist in the development of detail design documentation.
- Perform Code reviews.
- Assist the business analysts with requirements elicitation where required.
- Development of backend database code using Microsoft Technologies
- Work alongside with the different vendors during the program.
- Strong hands-on experience in VB6.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Technologies such as VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, JavaScript.
- Experience in the development of Web Services/ API.
- Strong experience in using source control software such as Azure DevOps or Git.
- Strong experience in understanding business requirements using User Stories, Business Process Maps, Use Case and Requirements.
- Strong experience with T-SQL coding language.
Location and Contract Term
This role is being offered to those in Canberra, ACT. Initial contract for 12 months and high chance to be extended.
