About the Role - Senior Fundraising Manager
  
This newly created role will head up the fundraising program,  which includes community, events, individual giving, philanthropy and partnerships. The focus for Senior Fundraising Manager will be to lead a high-performing team with enthusiasm and work closely with them to further develop the Philanthropy (T&F and Major Gifts) and the Corporate Partnerships (workplace giving, engagement campaigns and peer-to-peer) channels.
  
Reporting to the Marketing and Fundraising Director, this role sits at an attractive level where you will have autonomy and strategic responsibility whilst also leading from the front by managing your own relationships and being involved in high-level strategic partnership development discussions. The perfect balance of strategy vs implementation .
   
You will use your growth mindset and supportive leadership experience to lead a team of 5 highly skilled fundraisers whilst working closely with the Marketing and Fundraising Director to implement strategies that will support the delivery of a national fundraising strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the fundraising strategy, responsible for all non-government income with a focus on growing corporate partnerships and philanthropy
  • Lead and support a highly motivated fundraising team of 5
  • Support the leadership team and an engaged Board to play an active role in fundraising for services, driving a culture of philanthropy
  • Represent fundraising and play an active role in the quarterly organisational planning process
  • Develop relationship strategies to take major donor prospects through all phases from identification to renewal
  • Work with the Business Development Manager to identify sustainable, aligned commercial partnership opportunities
  • Implement an engagement/stewardship strategy for new and existing relationships
  • Provide guidance to the community fundraising team and their campaigns to deliver key community fundraising events.
  • Oversee reporting, financial budgets and expenditure to meet fundraising targets
  • Support the fundraising team to develop a reporting system to enable ROI analysis of fundraising activities
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party suppliers
Skills & Experience:
  • An experienced fundraiser with extensive experience in leading relationship-based fundraising programs including philanthropy and partnerships
  • A donor centric approach to developing communication strategies
  • Demonstrated success in leading a team and driving income growth
  • A collaborative and ambitious leader with strong planning skills
  • Agility and positivity in times of transformation and change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Budget and financial reporting experience.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, ideally Salesforce or similar
  • Keen interest in improving mental health support
