Brunel Australasia has partnered with one of the world's premier energy companies to find a Senior Geospatial Consultant join their team in their Brisbane CBD location.
The Senior Geospatial Consultant will join the Geomatics team, reporting to the Geomatics Manager and will offer an opportunity to influence key decisions impacting geospatial data management and software engineering services.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a Senior Geospatial Consultant, providing expertise in geospatial data management and software engineering services.
- Lead the delivery of multiple large Geomatics and integrated project scopes, managing requirements, schedules, and coordination of work.
- Maintain close collaboration with cross-functional teams, strategic technical partnerships, and colleagues for ongoing improvements in integrated GIS.
- Drive the implementation of new technologies, data delivery systems, integrations, and unique services aligned with the Geospatial Strategy.
- Provide expert advice on geospatial, data integrations, application development, automations, and data management practices.
- Provide guidance and connect with the wider Geomatics global community for support where needed.
- Relevant Tertiary degree.
- Relevant experience in Geomatics roles and exposure to Geospatial Science or related Geoscience.
- Must be skilled in cross Discipline integration and would be advantageous to have in depth business knowledge crossing multiple lines of business.
- Must have proven record of integrated business/project coordination and delivery.
- Able to engage and influence business stakeholders to define and implement key Geomatics workflows to meet business requirements.
- Proven ability to self-manage and multitask to ensure successful delivery of multiple, simultaneous workstreams and projects.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and track record of being solution orientated.
- Actively demonstrate HSSE leadership, manage Geomatics HSSE risks and influence decision makers to achieve improved safety outcomes.
- Must have full Australian work rights
- Initially a 12 Month Contract
