Overview
The purpose of the Senior Graphic Designer role is to fulfill internal and external design and brand requirements by producing on brand collateral and templates across traditional print and digital mediums.
The role will focus on creative delivery across brand development and marketing, business development, sales process and business support and will take responsibility for delivery of key activities working direct with key stakeholders within the business, mid weight designers and external agencies.
Including but not limited to development of Web and print collateral such as Brochures, Reports, Statements, Stationary, Newsletters, EDMs, Online Forms, Website / Social Graphics, Events and Flyers. Video production would be beneficial and intermediate to advanced PowerPoint experience required.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
- Support Brand Development initiatives
- Support External Marketing and Internal Comms activities
- Support Business Development Process
- Facilitate ad hoc business requests
- Ability to manage simultaneous project deliverables to brief and agreed project scope whilst clearly communicating expectations
- Effective communicator, keeping key team and working group members informed of progress and upcoming requirements
- End to end project and vendor management
- Guardian of the creative artwork filing system ensuring job close process is followed and filing structure is adhered to
- Delivery of monthly reporting
- Be a brand guardian providing leadership, knowledge share and feedback with regards to building and maintaining a consistent brand approach
- Provide advice and training on best practice use of Brand Hub branded support material
- Demonstrate our core values in every interaction
- Maintain and build strong client relationships (internal/external)
- Always operate within Link Groups Governance and Risk framework
- 4-7 years creative experience
- High attention to detail
- Proficient in use of Adobe Creative Suite:
- InDesign
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- XD
- Premiere
- Proficient in use of O365 applications
- Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skillset
- Configuration and use of master pages
- Configuration of themes
- Ability to mentor business users at varying levels in correct use of branded templates
- In depth understanding of:
- Print vs Digital design process for intended output
- Print production process, timeframes & distribution
- Ability to project manage creative outcomes
- Understanding project lifecycles
- Ability to understand complex timetables
- Ability to manage output to agreed timelines
