About the Role
This role is responsible for High-Performance Sports Stakeholder Management and Development of event opportunities for VenuesWest working directly with State Sporting Associations and the key industry partners the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC), WAIS, Tourism WA and SportWest.
This position will focus on working with State Sporting Associations to develop them into a position to enrich High Performance Sport opportunities for targeted sports including the generation of new and improved procurement of State, national, and international events into VenuesWest venues.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity with the nature of the role requiring weekend and after-hours work as required. Flexible working arrangements will be discussed with the successful candidate including hours of work and working from home.
Whilst the position will be based at HBF Stadium in Mount Claremont, mobility may be required between the portfolio of facilities.

About the Person
The successful candidate will have high level relationship-building and communication skills to cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders, suppliers and content providers to effectively promote and sell products and services and ensure successful business outcomes. Experience in planning and delivering sporting events and developing bids to procure sporting events at the state, national and international level are essential for this role.
