The primary purpose of this role is to lead the design and implementation of the Human Resource function to align with the Business Plan and Strategy that brings company values to life.Our ideal candidate will have experience in a multifaceted and stand alone Human Resource Business Partner role, with an ability to generate, drive and implement strategic initiatives, included but not limited to:Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with the company's goals, emphasising Employee Relations (ER) and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) in a small company culture.Develop, implement, and oversee ER strategies, policies, and procedures, ensuring a fair and consistent approach to employee relations matters.Proactively manage workplace incidents, grievances, and disciplinary actions, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.Conduct risk assessments and design initiatives to enhance Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices in alignment with the company's size and structure.Design and deliver training programs to enhance ER and WHS awareness among employees, reinforcing the company's unique culture.Stay informed on changes in ER and WHS laws, ensuring compliance and adapting policies for the small company setting.Utilise data analytics to identify trends related to ER and WHS, providing insights for continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with leadership to design and implement HR functions tailored to the needs and culture of a small company.Act as a trusted advisor for employees and managers, providing guidance on ER and WHS matters, and fostering open communication channels.Develop and maintain emergency response plans suitable for a small company, ensuring all employees are familiar with procedures.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ER and WHS, providing regular reports to guide decision-making in the small company context.Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in HR, ER, and WHS practices, contributing to the development of a resilient and adaptive small company culture.key relationships CEO, COO, CAO, General Company office members Senior supervisions & project managersqualifications, skills, knowledge & experienceMinimum 5 years' experience in a HR Generalist role, in a stand alone positionBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.Familiarity with workplace health and safety (WHS) practices (desirable).Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a rapidly evolving environment.At HR Partners by Randstad, we are passionate about providing equal employment opportunities and embracing diversity to the benefit of all.
