What's the Role:
As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will support the Group Manager - Internal Audit in providing Bradken's senior management and directors with an independent and objective assessment of the company's performance with respect to internal control and governance, consistent with the effective management of risk as a driver of business performance.
You will have a collaborative approach and work with the broader governance team, including Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM) group compliance/ audit and J-SOX departments, external auditors, and Bradken's stakeholders.
You will identify internal control deficiencies, assist management by recommending remediation measures and undertake follow up activities to ensure deficiencies identified have been addressed.
You will prepare and present audit reports, ensure that working papers, draft audit reports, and other deliverables meet appropriate standards, and assignments are completed within the allocated time. You will also engage in continuing professional development to maintain professional internal audit knowledge, skills, and experience.
Key Technical Criteria:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Accounting or Finance (CA / CPA / ACCA or CIA qualification is desirable)
- Proven experience as an Internal Auditor
