Senior Landscape Architect

JBA is seeking a SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT with a minimum of five years industry experience to join our team based in Fremantle, Western Australia. Applicants must hold a tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture and have experience in design development, documentation, and delivery of projects.

This role is suited to someone looking to consolidate their career in Landscape Architecture as part of a forward thinking team.

This position will support the Principal Landscape Architect in guiding the strategic direction of the design team. It requires the skills to shape design output, lead working groups, improve workflow and processes, and meet project timelines and budgets. Applicants must have the following abilities:

• Creative and critical thinking.
• Advanced collaboration and communication.
• Take direction, work independently, and take responsibility to achieve project goals.
• Attention to detail.
• Advanced English and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite, including but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.

Applicants will be viewed favourably if they have the following skills:

• Specification and superintendency experience.
• Experience in other design software; SketchUp, Rhino, Revit etc.
• Experience working in Western Australia and a demonstrated understanding of the local context. 

Remuneration will be negotiated in line with relevant project experience and skill set.
