The Opportunity
You’ll be involved with the design, technical support and project delivery whilst being part of a cohesive team. No big company functional silos, bureaucracy or politics.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior or Lead Civil Designer, you'll undertake detailed design, documentation and modelling of major and minor roadworks, local area traffic management, subdivisions, commercial building developments and general civil engineering works. No two days will be the same.
Key Skills & Attributes
Ideally, you’ll have, as a minimum;
- Advanced Diploma Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- 5 to 15 years of consultancy design experience
- Understanding of Austroads & relevant Australian Standards
- Experience with 12D modelling, Civil 3D, AutoCAD (or equivalents)
- Subdivisions, roads, hydraulics or varied civil expertise
- Ability to undertake designs, manage projects and a small design team
- Impeccable verbal, interpersonal & written communication skills
- Ability to work with or lead, manage and mentor design drafters
- Proven ability to engage with & foster strong relationships with clients
- Ability to work autonomously & deliver work on time & budget
