Senior Lighting Designer

We work closely with our partners throughout Australia and Asia to deliver outstanding lighting products for commercial, residential, and industrial applications. 

We are seeking a dynamic individual with high level technical ability matched with flair and passion. You may be an architect or have a background in interior design coupled with solid knowledge of illumination optical design and electrical application knowledge and experience.

As part of the lighting design team, you will be responsible for creating lighting designs for single site projects, as well as multi-site rollouts across multiple sectors. The ideal applicant will be an individual who enjoys a fast-paced working environment, with an IES (Illuminating Engineering Society) certification and thrives under a busy work environment.

Essential skills:

• Lighting Design and Application Qualification or a similar discipline
• Qualified Lighting Design Engineer with MIES accreditation or equivalent
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and evaluative skills.
• Proven experience in different sectors’ lighting designs with minimum 5+ years' related working experience.
• Proficient in using AGI32 lighting design software with AutoCAD, Relux or DIALux experience highly regarded.
• Familiar with 3D modelling and ability to read CAD Drawings and plans.
• Strong presentation skills and computer literate.
• Ability to support project tenders with product specification, estimating or project management experience.
