About the role
Reporting to the Manager Asset Readiness, you will be responsible for leading the Maintenance Engineering team to provide engineering expertise to the maintenance and operations functions on all fixed plant equipment across the Onslow Iron project. The position will initially be based in our Osborne Park head office and then transitioning to FIFO from Perth on an 8/6 roster either at Onslow or our Ken's Bore mine site.

• Deliver fixed plant reliability, maintenance, operation and engineering support for Onslow Iron
• Ensure fixed plant maintenance strategies are implemented, optimised and managed
• Develop innovative solutions and a proactive approach to fixed plant maintenance to enhance equipment reliability and loss elimination
• Identify and manage fixed plant reliability risk and life cycle asset management
• Develop strategies to increase equipment availability and reliability
• Provide technical support to site when needed

What you'll bring to the team

• Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or similar
• Minimum 10 years experience within fixed plant mining/materials handling/equipment reliability
• Experience leading engineering teams
• Detailed knowledge of mining/port operations
• Experience in project start-ups, commissioning and operational activities
• Ability to work on a FIFO roster and additional hours on occasion to meet operational demands
• Safety first attitude
• Adeptness at solving problems
