Job Description The Opportunity Due to an internal secondment with promotions provided to existing team members we are looking for a Senior Management Accountant on a full time 12 months position with possibility of becoming permanent. The Role Working closely with the Finance Lead, the Senior Management Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of monthly business results, budgeting and with a focus on capital reporting and improvements for Arc Infrastructure. The key duties and responsibilities of the Senior Management Accountant are: Capital Reporting: Lead Arc’s capital reporting providing analysis, and presentation of accurate and timely capital report including ownership of Arc’s fixed asset register and relevant balance sheet accounts Financial Analysis: Preparation of the month end results including coordination and compilation of accounting data and commentaries required to explain variances against budget and forecast with a focus on capital reporting Assist with group reporting relating to capital on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis Forecasting & Budgeting: Play a key role in the 5-year capital budgeting and forecasting process leading the 5 year capital budgeting process working closely with operational business units Work closely with senior leadership to align capital strategies with overall business objectives. Process Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to support the growth in capital spend improving the finance processes to algin with Arc’s business objectives Identify opportunities for process optimization within the capital reporting function. Implement best practices and contribute to the enhancement of financial systems and tools. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including Senior Management, finance team, and business units Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner providing financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and financial processes within the team Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a small team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
