Our PwC Private Business Tax team helps high-profile companies, large privately-owned organisations, innovative start-ups as well as multinational corporations with spectacular results.
The team builds trusted relationships with businesses in various industries, supporting them in making informed decisions, and complying with income tax obligations.
We’re looking for a Senior Manager to join our vast community of solvers.
Use the know-how you've gained in Corporate Tax or a similar Private Tax role as a foundation to build your leadership skills and grow our Business Tax Team. Working with private businesses and corporate groups, you will make an impact here by building relationships with clients, managing projects, developing your technical knowledge and delivering high quality outputs.
With new problems to solve, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to create change.
As an expert in tax, with our PwC Private Business Tax team, you’ll make a real impact. You’ll also use your CA, CPA or other accounting, business and legal qualifications to:
Work with clients across a wide range of industries including property, transport, mining and medical through all stages of their business life cycle including growth and succession/exit, developing solutions for the complex problems that arise in each stage
Work on complex corporate tax compliance and consulting advice, domestic tax issues including consolidation and restructuring advice, international tax matters, and involvement in M&A transactions (including undertaking tax due diligence and acquisition tax structuring)
Apply practical skills and experience to clients supporting them in making informed decisions, and complying with income tax obligations
Liaise with the ATO in relation to Top 500 and Next 5000 programs
Manage and coach teams of junior staff members
Key Characteristics required are:
Established tax and accounting skills (5+ years) with desire to increase complexity and size of assignments.
Established tax consulting skills on a range of broad tax matters relevant to business and corporate clients with desire to increase knowledge and skills.
