The Consumer Solutions team are responsible for managing and optimizing Credit, Debit and Prepaid portfolios in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
We are looking for someone to work closely with Visa’s most important portfolios including banks, credit unions and fintech clients to ensure they achieve market leading growth.

This role is a member of Visa’s Consumer Solutions team reporting to the Director of Credit Products. This team is focused on maintaining a close relationship with our key clients; developing an intimate understanding of their business objectives; and providing thought provoking insights into the performance of their portfolios.
Your strong project management, analytical and communication skills combined with an understanding of payments will ensure that Visa is best positioned to help our clients optimize and grow revenue.
This role typically suits an ambitious professional in the banking or technology industry that is looking to expand both their experience and capabilities having come from a Product, Analytics, Consulting or Partnership Management backdrop.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role will support key strategic clients in Australia and New Zealand helping them deliver on their growth ambitions.
- Co-ordinate a program of business and industry updates to the client delivering thought leadership, data analysis, meaningful insights and global best practices.
- Lead the delivery of optimization projects focused on helping our clients scale and grow.
- Leverage data analysis and insights to support strategy development by understanding ongoing portfolio performance.
- Developing portfolio insights based on client data and by comparing performance to other market participants.
- Analysing the appropriateness and desirability of differing value propositions to identify the optimal solution for each client scenario.
- Identifying, structuring and delivering best practice thought leadership to clients.
- Developing repeatable set-play approaches to drive improved client and Visa revenue.

- Be responsible for managing the development and execution of plans, including tasks, resources and reports.
- Lead and co-ordinate project meetings between Visa and client project initiative leads.
- Facilitate and direct internal Visa support areas in response to ad hoc client requests and ensure the delivery of risk, marketing, product, operations and innovation support.
- You will proactively identify and develop new business opportunities with regards to Value Added Services offered by Visa.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to model commercial proposals for new products and services.
- You will work closely with local and regional colleagues to evolve the overall portfolio optimization strategy.
- Analyse portfolio and campaign performance to iterate on the strategy and ensure focus is on the right areas of the business.
- Oversee portfolio governance including budgeting, timelines, and resource management.
- Bring in Visa expertise from the broader business when required.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
