The opportunity:
Reporting to the Head of Bupa Foundation & Social Impact APAC, Bupa’s Senior Fundraising and Social Impact Manager is responsible for developing and deploying strategies, programs and activities to achieve the Bupa Foundation fundraising objective, APAC’s community investment target and deliver our 2023-2026 Reconciliation Action Plan. The position sits within Bupa APAC’s Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, in the ESG & Sustainability team.
Supporting the Head of Bupa Foundation & Social Impact APAC, this role is responsible for the design and delivery of fundraising and community investment strategies, plans and actions of the ANZ Bupa Foundation, a health promotion charity dedicated to helping people live longer, healthier, happier lives and making a better world.
This role will lead by influence a network of employees interested in, working on or supporting Bupa’s Social Impact strategies and programs and the broader Mission 2040 Strategy and APAC Sustainability Plan.
How will I help?
- Support the direction, planning and prioritisation of the Bupa Foundation aligned with Bupa’s Mission 2040 Strategy, APAC Sustainability Plan, the Australian Government and Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission requirements for a Healthy Promotion Charity with Deductible Gift Recipient Status.
- Develop and deploy a Bupa Foundation Fundraising Strategy which delivers Bupa ANZ’s goal to fundraise from individuals and organisations external to Bupa.
- Develop and maintain strong and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive progress against Bupa/Bupa Foundation ambitions and targets
- Plan, develop and deliver fundraising programs, partnerships and activations for the Bupa Foundation to successfully fundraise externally
- Deliver Bupa’s 2023-2026 Reconciliation Action Plan which includes key commitments and targets across First Nation’s employment, suppliers, health outcomes and cultural learning
- Develop and deliver Bupa APAC’s community investment programs which includes but is not limited to volunteering, workplace giving, community grants and scholarships
- Working with the broader ESG and Sustainability team to identify and implement connectivity between social and environmental impact including ways to support First Nations health outcomes and those of the planet

What do I need?
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent in philanthropy, health, sustainability, social policy or community development is desirable
- Must have demonstrable and quantifiable experience in fundraising and Social Impact
- Strong influencing and engagement skills required
- Strong strategic acumen across fundraising, Social Impact and stakeholder engagement
- Develop sound business cases and project plans aligned with strategy
- Deal with ambiguity and make sense of complex information
