About the role
We are pleased to announce that we are inviting candidate applications for the role of Senior Manager - Global Marketing (Initiating Systems) .This critical role will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies for our Initiating Systems product portfolio, driving competitive advantage, market penetration and customer engagement across the value chain.
Reporting to our Vice President - Initiating Systems, you will lead development of global category strategy and effective implementation, while playing a crucial role in setting global pricing policy and driving new technology development initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will bring a background in mining or mining services, a passion for technology, and strong marketing and commercial skills. This is a key role within the team, where exceptional communication, influencing and project management skills are required.
What you will be doing
- Develop strategies to optimise the profitability of Portfolios across Global markets.
- Drive strategic marketing through understanding market trends and new market opportunities by providing market intelligence and voice of the customer feedback.
- Ensure the effective development and commercialisation of new technology and systems.
- Provide strategic direction to ensure alignment between the Product Market Plans and the Manufacturing, Distribution and Commercial Plans.
- Monitor external sales performance and provide information to regions to assist in its management.
- Lead the development and implementation of global pricing strategies.
- Manage commercial activities to meet Regional regulatory requirements.
- Develop market segmentation models and value propositions to enhance growth.
- Manage the global supply mandate to assist Manufacturing with the optimal capacity utilisation.
What you will bring
- Role ideally suited to individuals with a minimum of (15) years' experience in a similar global commercial or marketing role.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, science, business or similar (post-graduate highly regarded)
- Proven track record of successfully leading the commercialisation of blasting products and solutions.
- Operational experience in either mining or mining services is essential.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Advanced problem solving and quantitative skills.
