Genuine opportunities for career progression and development What you'll do: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will be part of a wider network of professional engineers working on both local and national projects. Specific activities will include, but are not limited to: Provide mechanical design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time Take lead on small to medium size engineering design projects and support larger projects Communicate effectively with all external (clients, authorities) and internal (colleagues, managers) Be a supporting figure and mentor for lesser experienced engineers Have the ability to build solid client relationships and recognize business development opportunities (desirable) Represent and promote the business with the local and regional markets What we'll love about you: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. Extensive experience within the local Building Services sector utilising Australian building codes and standards, ideally in WA Basic to intermediate level REVIT skills (highly desirable) A track record of effectively handling competing priorities, prioritising work and meet tight deadlines Strong liaison and coordination with external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers and communicate effectively at all levels About WSP WSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services consulting firms, bringing together approximately 5,000 talented people across 14 offices in Australia.
