This role will see you become a technical expert, thereby enhancing your capabilities and the reputation of WSP's Mining Infrastructure & Project Delivery (MIPD) team. You will collaborate with talented and diverse professionals working on iconic projects to drive future ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.
What you'll do
- Deliver the design and documentation of mineral slurry pumps, pipelines and piping systems, process plants, topside equipments
- Working with the wider resources team and other teams within the company nationally and internationally to deliver clients' outcomes.
About you:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering including Chartered status (CPEng, RPEQ) or ability to obtain.
- Have proven local experience in piping design and project management experience, ideally within a consulting environment. Mining industry experience in Iron Ore highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in client interfacing roles, managing multi-discipline studies and detailed design projects achieving scope, budget, schedule and quality outcomes
- Thorough knowledge of codes and standards and a good understanding of piping engineering practices applicable to mining piping design.
- Experience in managing proposal development an advantage
