Services Australia is at the frontline of government service delivery, supporting millions of Australians to access health and social security payments and services.
The Communications Division provides innovative, best practice strategic communication advice and support, enabling effective reach to the right people, using the right channel, at the right time. Candidates will ideally demonstrate experience in both media and social media management, however specialists will also be considered.
A merit pool is being established for anticipated vacancies over the next 18 months.
Senior Media Advisers confidently lead and support staff to deliver quality media outcomes that enhance and protect the agency’s reputation. They translate the agency’s strategic direction into clear operational goals, and work with stakeholders to foster partnerships, provide strategic advice, and manage work output and quality.
Senior Media Advisers exercise a considerable degree of independence, making decisions based on their specialist professional judgement and consideration of wider agency implications.
