Senior Medical Officer (Rural Generalist)

This role is based at Gympie Hospital, in the northern region of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. Gympie is a growing, vibrant, regional town with the benefits of regional living but being within easy driving distance of Rainbow Beach, Noosa, the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.

Temporary Part-time, 64 hrs p.f. for up to 12 months 

We are  looking for an exceptional Rural Generalist  to join our Obstetric and Gynaecology team at Gympie Hospital. The Senior Medical Officer (Rural Generalist) Obstetrics and Gynaecology is responsible for providing high quality Obstetrics and Gynaecology management across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.

Advanced skills training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG Advanced) is essential.

SCHHS Salary includes:

• Base salary comprising of between
  • $97.84 - $124.05 p.h.
• Motor vehicle allowance (pro rata for Part-time)
  • L18 - L24 $21,000 p.a.
  • L25 - L27 $25,500 p.a.
• Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 40% of base salary
• Professional development allowance $21,500 p.a. (pro rata for Part-time)
