About the role: The Senior Medical Scientist in Charge manages the professional, administration and technical services of the Central Specimen Reception Areas (CSRA), Customer Contact Centre, and Clinical Trials for PathWest. The position is responsible for the adequate provision of quality services to internal and external clients. The role manages the financial, human and physical resources of these areas whilst being responsible for strategic development and implementation of new processes and procedures. The Senior Medical Scientist in Charge provides expert and specialist consultancy on technologies related to pre-analytical processes.
