About the role
The role is part of Chandler ICYMHS team that provides Mental Health assessment and treatment to children and families. The senior clinician will provide a key leadership role within a multidisciplinary community team, provide high quality care to consumers, and be involved in liaison and partnerships with other service providers.
About you
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Ability to engage children, young people and their families when there are often barriers to engagement
- APRHA registration or AASW eligibility
- Commitment to recovery orientated and high quality Mental Health care
- Commitment to supervising and supporting less experienced staff and students
- A strong commitment to high quality care with a flexible approach
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Post-graduate qualification in family therapy is desirable
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
