Senior Mental Health Clinician - Melbourne & Vic

I am seeking 2x Senior Mental Health Clinicians to come on board immediately, with various sites available throughout VIC. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Social worker to  join a leading NFP organization on a permanent basis.

The Senior Clinician will provide direct clinical support and intervention to guests with ongoing complex Mental Health and AOD issues. This may include assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions aimed at addressing both Mental Health and AOD concerns.
As part of the role, you would be expected to collaborate with the research department to undertake research and evaluation activities. This may involve collecting and analyzing data related to the integration of care and treatment, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and programs implemented within the project.

Essential Requirements:

- Formal tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health.
- Accredited registration with a professional governing body such as AHPRA, APS, AASW
- A minimum of 3 years working as a clinician in the MH/AOD sector
- A valid Working with Children Check
- A valid Police check.
- A valid and current Australian Driver License and access to personal vehicle.
- Proven clinical experience to apply evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions, including understanding of theoretical concepts within Mental Health and AOD sciences and their application to Mental Health and/or AOD presentations.
- Experience working as a member of a multi- disciplinary team with the ability to inspire and facilitate team commitment and cooperation.
