AddressThis well-established company is seeking a Modern Workplace / EUC Engineer who will help build, maintain, and troubleshoot the company's rapidly expanding infrastructure. This person will primarily focus on designing and supporting Infrastructure architecture. This will include managing and implementing the build activities related to the Microsoft Technology stack including Azure and being responsible for the release and deployment management tasks for new services.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate technology, market trends, and industry plus identify the prospective impact on business.
- Creating documentation and transferring knowledge to other teams and Users
- Develop, and maintain continuity of operation processes and Standard Operating procedures.
- Resolve complex issues escalated by Level 1 and 2 staff.
- Proactive problem management.
- Prepare deployment plans for new Microsoft Office 365 products.
- Develop and execute Testing plans and Test Cases.
- Test and implement the deployment plan for all necessary Microsoft Office 365 upgrades using test accounts and near-end-user use simulation.
- Supporting the larger team, develop and implement the end-user communication plan and schedule.
- Identify the need to change technical architecture to incorporate infrastructure needs.
- Consult with project teams of infrastructure development to fit the entire architecture infrastructure.
Desired Skills/Experience
- Previous Architecture Experience in large complex Microsoft Azure/O365 Environments
- Microsoft Intune Experience
- Strong Windows 10 troubleshooting skills and Autopilot
- Azure / O365 PowerShell
- Active Directory & Group Policy Objects
- ADFS and ADFS Proxy maintenance and configuration experience
- Azure / O365 PowerShell
- Active Directory / Entra ID & Group Policy Objects
- Virtualisation (Hyper-V or VMware)
- Azure Virtual Datacenter
- Good understanding of networking protocols
- Microsoft Azure and Office 365 Deployment (Hybrid AAD connect Environment)
- Office 365 Support- Microsoft Office Professional Plus, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft and SharePoint Online, and Skype for Business Online
- Setup and configuration of shared mailboxes
- DNS / TCP / IP / DHCP
- Strong Windows 10 troubleshooting skills
- Very good communication skills and excellent phone manners,
- Knowledge and experience with AD migrations, cross-forest migrations, and interoperability scenarios
- Practical knowledge of Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS). DirSync, Azure AD Sync, or Azure, SharePoint Online, and Office 365: Exchange Online, Skype for Business Online, OneDrive for Business
- Practical knowledge in addressing Identity Management issues (AD/ADFS)
- Practical knowledge of SharePoint Online
- Must be able to lead technical meetings and discussions
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Must be able to effectively manage relationships with internal and external partners
- Excellent people skills with the ability to handle difficult personnel situations
- Microsoft Certification (MCITP/MCP) in Hyper-V, Office 365, or System Center
- Project management experience & working in a team
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently and speak up when you spot issues and ask questions when you're not sure about something
