What you’ll do
As a Senior OB Operator you will demonstrate high-level operational knowledge and provide tuition in the areas of: Directing, Vision Switching, VT replays, Audio and CCU.
- Production of on-air graphics
- Liaise with the Outside Broadcast technicians to ensure all graphics are received from external devices.
- Perform accurate and timely technical outside broadcast services.
- Provide training and assistance to new operational staff.
- Provide leadership, direction and effective communication to the OB team.
- Liaise and engage with the various race clubs.
What you’ll bring
- Strong Organisation & Planning skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Innovative thinking
- Ability to prioritise high pressure production requirements
- Technical and professional knowledge of Outside Broadcast operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a small team
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Outside Broadcast operations
- Ideally you will have a love of horse racing and some live broadcast experience
