Your opportunity: A Senior Peer Coordinator works to facilitate the delivery, development and planning of support services to consumers of the mental health service. A Senior Peer Coordinator promotes and provides guidance to the development and ongoing management of consumer participation and provide systems advocacy in relation to consumer, carer and family related issues. Under 25s of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to have a personal lived experience of mental illness and recovery and/or caring for someone with a lived experience of mental illness and recovery. Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).
