Great opportunity for a Senior People & Capability Advisor to join Anyinginyi Health, an organisation enacting real change to close the gap in Aboriginal Health outcomes.
About Us:
We are an Aboriginal community-controlled organisation committed to achieving health equity for Aboriginal people in the Barkly region. To achieve our goal, we employ over 100 people across a diverse range of roles in each of our key sections of Health Services, Public Health, Stronger Families and Corporate Services.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Executive Manager People & Capability, you will work closely with the Section Managers at Anyinginyi Health to deliver all facets of employment success.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with Managers to ensure Job Descriptions are up to date and Performance Appraisals are carried out
- Oversee and support recruitment (including screening, interviews, reference check and communication with applicants)
- Networking through industry contacts, social media, and employees
- Oversee onboarding and travel/relocation arrangements for new hires
- Draft reports for Executive and Board
- Provide high level HR/IR administration support
- Represent Anyinginyi at employment and education events to promote awareness of the organisation
About You:
- You are respectful of Aboriginal culture and protocols
- Tertiary qualification in HR or substantially completed and/or demonstrated experience of over 2 years in HR or Recruitment
- Knowledge of Work Health Safety legislation
- Knowledge and understanding of your role in an Aboriginal community controlled environment
- Ability to foster teamwork and collaborate with different departments
- Demonstrated experience in database management and record keeping
- Excellent computer skills
- Ochre Card / Working with Children Card (or ability to obtain) COVID -19 Vaccinated
