The pharmacy services provided at these sites include: low-medium risk chemotherapy, dialysis, mental health and general medicine/surgery/ rehab. This is an exciting opportunity to provide a complex range of professional, dispensing, clinical and counselling services for patients.
The RMCLHN SA Pharmacy team have recently piloted a regional model for the delivery of outreach clinical review via telehealth. This regional TelePharmacy model is currently operational from the Berri site. Being based at Berri, you will enjoy a great work life balance, with potential to support remote working arrangements via a metropolitan location across some days of the week.

Responsible for the organisation, management and operation of the designated pharmacy area, working within the Riverland Murray Coorong LHN. The provision of a comprehensive high-level range of pharmacy services, to exercise independent and autonomous judgement in the provision of pharmacy services, medicines information and therapeutic advice to patients of the hospital as well as medical and nursing staff and other health professionals in accordance with hospital and divisional policies and procedures and professional standards and guidelines relating to pharmacy practice. The optimisation of outcomes for patients by implementing strategies to achieve the best possible quality use of pharmaceuticals in a safe and cost-effective manner and in accordance with hospital policy.
Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent required. Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.

COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Emergency Management (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) Directions 2021 to work in SA Health/health care setting.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications
