SENIOR POLICY AND RESEARCH OFFICER (X2)
Two exciting opportunities are available to join the Australia New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency (ANZPAA) as Senior Policy and Research Officers.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Senior Policy and Research Officers are responsible for leading work for the successful achievement of the ANZPAA Strategy and Business Plan. The position assists with stakeholder engagement, research, problem solving, innovation, and supports workshops and consultation meetings. The position will be responsible for preparing meeting papers, briefings, reports, presentations and manages the administration of projects where required.
The ideal Senior Policy and Research Officer will have a demonstrated interest in and understanding of policing. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills to build trusting relationships with stakeholders and team members alike. They will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, including problem solving, strategic and critical thinking. They will be confident and engaging facilitators and presenters who enjoys supporting others to achieve first class outcomes.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:

- a capacity for collaborating and supporting a high performing team culture.
- experience working with senior executives and leaders, preferably in a policing or similar environment.
Both positions are full-time fixed term until 30 June 2025, with opportunity for extension beyond this date.
